While two of Spurs’ fringe players have already left the club, the issue of Bongani Khumalo’s long term future seems set to drag on with reports that he is heading to Greece on a season long loan.

The player’s agent Glyn Binkin, who has been very vocal about his client’s potential worth to Spurs, claims

“The clubs have agreed and the player and myself will be travelling to Greece this week with a view to agreeing and finalising the player’s personal terms for the loan deal,” Binkin said.

Bongani joined us from Supersport United in January 2011 and has yet to make a first team appearance despite the obvious defensive injury crisis at the club last season. Whether he will ever make a senior start is doubtful but a loan here does seem likely and we won’t therefore have to ask that question for another year at least.

  1. Not much we can say about a player we havn’t seen but good luck to him with his loan and maybe one day he will wear our shirt.

  2. Unfortunately for him he is a typical ‘harry’ signing.
Very much doubt we will ever see him in a competitive game for us, nor that he was ever good enough in the 1st place!
