While the transfer rumours continue to concentrate on the performances of Gareth Bale, the Welshman’s counterpart on the right wing is also starting to receive plenty of attention. Aaron Lennon has returned to his best form under Andre Villas-Boas and his performances are said to have caught the eye of Serie A side Inter Milan.
If Lennon were playing in any other team, those stories would probably have escalated by now but the contribution of Bale continues to deflect the spotlight from the England international. However, his performances haven’t gone entirely unnoticed – a fact confirmed by his recent return to the England set up.
Aaron’s winning goal on Sunday was his fifth of the season and the player has continued his useful habit of scoring important goals in tight scorelines such as this one.
The Italian club won’t have to go out of their way to scout Aaron over the next eight days – they are likely to face him over both legs of our Europa League last sixteen tie – but can there be any truth in these rumours as the season draws to a close?

The stories I read said they want to offer £8 million, which is utterly laughable.
If the club was stupid enough to let Lennon go then 8 million (the fee banded about) is nowhere near enough.

If someone came in with a bid of, say 15-18m.Then maybe. But this is just another one of those stories where SPURS players are being ‘offered’ left, right and center.
