The highlight of West Ham’s season was beating Spurs so they’ll get an early chance to do it again with the teams meeting on the opening day of the 2014-15 Premier League campaign. The new fixtures were released on Wednesday morning and our first home game is another London Derby – against QPR in a match which is currently scheduled for August 23rd.

We then finish the month with another home tie against Liverpool so it’s very much a mixed start for the club and new coach Mauricio Pochettino.

Other key fixtures to look out for are the away trip to Arsenal on September 27th with the corresponding game scheduled for White Hart Lane on February 7th.

Remember that these are scheduled dates and are obviously subject to change depending on the TV operators. For more details head over to the club’s official website but for now, what’s your opinion about our opening month?

  1. Im shitting myself, spurs are going to make us pay for our lucky wins last season. I reckon big Sam will take West Ham down next season we are shit. Anyone fancy a pikey bum bum.

  2. I’m always hoping for a home game against a Lancashire team on opening day. The reason? We won the old 1st division title in 1951 and the first game was at home to Blackpool-we lost 1-4. We opened with a 2-0 victory over Everton at home in 1961 and won the double. Clutching at straws? You bet. That’s all we have.

  3. Why is it the first NLD is nearly always away? I notice they also get their usual home game opener and finish (against mid table paddlers). Dark powers are at work here.

  4. early season cup final for the hammers we cant be as bad against them this year surely, lose they may bring another tee shirt out lol

  5. it’s always difficult playing teams you are expected to beat and yes they beat us 3 times last season, imo 3-0 to spurs is probably the par score but nothing is guaranteed, let’s hope for a much better season.
