Have Tottenham got a new kit deal in the offing?

Spurs are only two seasons into their kit deal with Under Armour but speculation is already building about their next deal.

Journalist James Morgan recently Tweeted the following, suggesting that Tottenham are soon to be wearing a Nike kit.

For my Spurs followers: heard from a pretty reliable source that the next kit deal will be with Nike.

James Morgan is well known amongst Tottenham fans for his book In Search Of Alan Gilzean and as the Deputy Editor of Scottish newspaper The Herald, is not the sort attention seeker who would make something like this up off the top of his head.

Tottenham are of course in the market for a naming partner for their proposed stadium, though whether Nike would want to be so associated with a club is perhaps unlikely.
