Spurs only made one deadline day signing yesterday and it was a transfer with one eye on the future.
Dele Alli joined the club in a £5m deal and have been loaned back to the MK Dons until the end of the season. The 18-year old has impressed with his performances this season and Tottenham had to beat off serious competition to get their hands on the midfielder. Here’s how Twitter reacted to the news.

Dele Alli looks a great addition by #THFC. Let's hope they've learned from Dean Parrett, John Bostock, etc.

12 – Dele Alli has scored more league goals from midfield than any other player in the top four tiers this season (12). Prospect. #TDD

Dele Alli is ridiculous in League One, never mind the fact he's only 18
