It took less than ten minutes for Tottenham to take the lead at Stoke, and it was their talisman Harry Kane who was on hand to open the scoring.

Kane played in Mousa Dembele centrally, the Belgian went past his marker like he wasn’t there and returned it to Kane who beautifully curled the ball into the far corner past Shay Given.

It was a lovely goal, and the perfect start for Spurs in a crucial game.
