Now that the dust has settled on the North London derby, you might want to watch this abridged version of the game.
The good folk at 442oons have produced a two-minute long animated highlights reel of the match and it’s safe to say that it’s more entertaining than the real thing.
Featuring poor finishing from both sides, multiple fouls by Victor Wanyama on Theo Walcott, Kevin Wimmer’s own goal, Dele waving, the definite foul on Moussa Dembele, Harry’s penalty and Eric Dier’s disappearing act with the ball, this short cartoon pretty much has every moment of the match covered.
Whilst this all jolly stuff some of us might like to reflect that we have only scored 15 goals so far in the current campaign.
The teams above us, that’s those CL places guys, are averaging 2+ a game.
Sorry to spoil the party but, at this point, I’m far from convinced that we will progress or even maintain our current standing.
There is an underlying issue here and Pochettino’s failure to address that issue (i.e. how to score goals) shows no sign of receding.
