Mauricio Pochettino could have the opportunity to welcome back a key man to his starting lineup today.

Toby Alderweireld is back in full training and Pochettino has confirmed that he would undergo a fitness test to evaluate whether he was ready to face Swansea.

If so he will surely slot in as part last season’s first-choice back four, in front of Hugo Lloris. That will free Eric Dier to return to midfield and we’d pair him with Mousa Dembele to see if they could recapture their old magic.

Further forward the attacking midfield three who started at Chelsea – Dele Alli, Christian Eriksen and Heung-Min Son should all play again, in support of Harry Kane.

Here’s our Spurs side to face Swansea. What’s yours?

  1. Dier has been below par all season. Wanyama has been one of our best players. Hence drop Dier.
