Three Premier League clubs are keeping tabs on Tottenham defender Kevin Wimmer, according to The Sun.

It is believed Crystal Palace, Stoke City and West Ham United are all interested in signing the Austrian centre-back.

The Sun claims Spurs would be happy to sell Wimmer if they complete a deal for Ajax defender Davinson Sanchez.

The 21-year-old Colombia international has told Ajax he wants to join Tottenham, and reports suggest a deal could be finalised by the end of the week.

Wimmer already has a tough task getting into the starting line-up at Spurs. Sanchez’s arrival would make things even more difficult for Wimmer.

Strangely, Slaven Bilic is thought to be keen on playing the 24-year-old at left-back rather than his preferred central role.

  1. Bilic wants to buy a Centre-Half and play him Left-Back? Sounds about right. ‘Super’ Slav loves playing players wildly out of position. What’s Wimmer like in goal…?
