Tottenham have cooled their interest in Lazio forward Keita Balde Diao, according to journalist Gary Jacob.
Jacob writes for The Times and is usually reliable with transfer stories.
Tottenham cooled interest in Keita Baldé. Wimmer doesn’t want to play left back at West Brom.

Yesterday we relayed reports from Italy suggesting Spurs have agreed to pay the €30 million (£27.5m) asking price for Keita.
The 22-year-old, who scored 18 goals in 34 appearances for Lazio last season, has also been linked with Juventus, Monaco and West Ham.
Spurs emerged as the frontrunners to sign Keita when Juventus apparently refused to pay Lazio’s asking price.
But if Jacob is to be believed, the club has now dropped their interest in the Senegal international, at least for now.
Jacob also claims Kevin Wimmer’s move to West Brom is in doubt as the centre-back does not want to play on the left.
That is good news.
We don’t need players like that, who go on strike and refuse to play for clubs, that are paying them.
shame at least he is a striker who knows were the goal is
Would off been good player to get different to what we have
