Tottenham face Manchester United in the FA Cup semi-final at Wembley on Saturday, and Mauricio Pochettino has a number of decisions to make regarding his team selection.
Spurs have lost their last seven FA Cup semi-finals, the longest run of defeats at this stage in the history of the competition.
With that in mind, there is a lot of pressure on Pochettino to a select an XI capable of beating Jose Mourinho’s men.
I have a feeling Hugo Lloris is going to start in goal, despite the fact Michel Vorm has been the preferred option in the FA Cup this season.
Toby Alderweireld made his first league start since October at Brighton on Tuesday, but that decision was probably based on the chance to give Davinson Sanchez a rest – he’ll likely return on Saturday.
Kieran Trippier, Eric Dier and Mousa Dembele should also return to the side, while I think Pochettino will go with the flair of Heung-Min Son over the work-rate of Erik Lamela.
Here’s our predicted XI to face Manchester United – what’s yours? Let us know in the comments.
