Chelsea are interested in signing Tottenham midfielder Christian Eriksen, according to reports in Spain.
Eriksen is out of contract at the end of next season and has been heavily linked with a move to Real Madrid in recent weeks.
There have been a number of contrasting reports about Eriksen’s situation. Some say Spurs are confident he will sign a new deal, while others suggest an agreement is unlikely.
Earlier this week, Spanish outlet AS claimed Tottenham will find it very difficult to convince Eriksen to stay this summer.
And now, AS believes Chelsea and Barcelona are ready to enter the race to sign Eriksen.
From our point of view, there is absolutely no way Spurs would do business over the Dane with Chelsea.
It’s likely the rest of the teams towards the top of the Premier League would like to have Eriksen in their ranks, too.
But Tottenham will be keen to avoid strengthening their rivals if they don’t have to.
The only way we can see Eriksen moving to another Premier League club is if he allows his contract to fully run down – even then, he would probably prefer Madrid or Barcelona.
If he leaves Spurs he will not go toto Chelsea, he is better than that!!

Willian joined Chelsea the same summer as Eriksen joined Spurs. Willian has won all domestic trophy available since then. Premier League twice. Eriksen has won nothing. He may want to win something in his career. He is better than Spurs.
