Tottenham’s chances of striking an audacious deal to sign Juventus forward Paolo Dybala have been handed a major boost.

The 25-year-old, who has been given extra time off after his Copa America commitments with Argentina earlier this month, isn’t with the rest of the Juventus squad who are currently in South Korea preparing for the final game of their pre-season tour of Asia against the K-League All Stars tomorrow.

And according to Sky Sports, Dybala is currently weighing up his options this summer, with Tottenham, Manchester United, Bayern Munich and PSG all interested in his signature.

Mauricio Pochettino was questioned about the possibility of bringing the highly-rated attacker to North London after Tottenham’s defeat to Manchester United in the International Champions Cup earlier today, but the Argentine failed to comment, stating he is only here to talk about football rather than transfers.

Spurs are set to fly home from China tomorrow as they gear up for the Audi Cup which starts in Munich on Tuesday, where they will play Real Madrid in their opening match.

  1. We’ll see, but signing Dybala would be an amazing statement of intent this season.
Keeping Toby and Christian would add to that, and would mean that (apart from
plucking a right back from somewhere, who’s at the level of Tripps and Walker) we
can relax about further signings. That would be one heck of a squad, although if
we can get Sessegnon for £25m, that would do me.

  2. I’ve always envied Man City having Aguero.
I would have loved to see him at Spurs.
Dybala, for me, is the same as Aguero, if we could somehow get him, there is no doubt about it, we will be at the next level instantly.

  3. This will never happen, we are talking about D.L here, they will not buy any more players this window. They do this every year, D.L gets a kick from haggling, then walks away.

  4. I think we will buy more players though not dybala , two more in and rose out , shame about that but looks like rose wants a fresh challenge

  5. Daniel Levi delays too often hoping prices will drop but it doesn’t or another team snatches player once medicals are passed by negotiating team , hence leaving spurs regretting.. this has happened so often in the case where Chelsea has snatches players like willian and Eden… and look where they are today …Levi will never learn .

  6. “Handed massive boost”? What’s the massive boost then? Oh of course there isn’t one, more clickbait nonsense, indulged by buffoons.
