Tottenham face Bayern Munich in the Champions League on Tuesday night, and Mauricio Pochettino has a number of decisions to make regarding his team selection.

Spurs will be desperate to bounce back from their collapse against Olympiacos last time out having gained confidence from Saturday’s hard-fought victory over Southampton in the Premier League.

Serge Aurier’s red card raised doubts over his inclusion against Bayern. We think Pochettino will opt for Kyle Walker-Peters instead as the ever-revolving door at right-back keeps on spinning.

Toby Alderweireld, Jan Vertonghen and Danny Rose should all keep their places in the back four in front of Hugo Lloris, while Mauricio Pochettino is likely to keep faith in the midfield three that started on Saturday: Harry Winks, Tanguy Ndombele and Moussa Sissoko.

In fact, Walker-Peters coming in for Aurier could be the only change Pochettino makes. Christian Eriksen, Son Heung-min and Harry Kane all combined brilliantly for the winner against Southampton, so it’s unlikely any of them will come out of the team.

Pochettino will be able to turn to Erik Lamela, Dele Alli or Lucas Moura from the bench if needed.

  1. Lloris needs to stop messing about and put his boot through the ball. Also this side to side and side to back is very negative football and is hard to watch.

  2. Please ensure that Moura comes on for at least 30 minutes to add pace also bring on Lamela at some stage and don’t feel bad to sub Eriksen if he is under performing COYS. Players should feel honoured wearing the Spurs shirt and fight for their places on the field, the supporters should feel proud.

  3. spurs will beat munich on a rainy night they are not that great anymore since loosin robben an ribery lump on spurs home win good payouts 3 1
