Heung Min Son’s exceptional solo strike in Tottenham’s 5-0 victory over Burnley in December has been voted as The Athletic’s Premier League Goal of the Year.
The award was announced earlier on Sunday evening and was voted by a host of writers from the online outlet.
Son picked up the ball just outside his own penalty area, skipped past a host of Clarets defenders, running almost the length of the pitch, before coolly slotting past Nick Pope.
