Chasing a UEFA Cup place at the end of the 2006-2007 campaign, Martin Jol’s men won 2-0 at The Valley. But that evening in south London is forever remembered for the Bulgarian’s exquisite first-half goal, which included that incredible touch to take it past defender Talal El Karkouri, and a cool finish past a young Scott Carson.
