New Tottenham signing Bryan Gil has sent a message to the club’s fans after his signing was confirmed on Monday.
In the afternoon, Spurs announced Gil had joined from Sevilla with Erik Lamela moving in the other direction.
Gil, who has made three senior international appearances for Spain, is currently with the national team at the Olympics in Japan.
But that didn’t stop him from greeting Tottenham’s supporters in a short video message.
He said: “I’m so happy to join the Spurs family. See you soon.” Watch below.

Hopefully it won’t be too long until we see Gil in action for Tottenham, whether in a pre-season friendly or in the Premier League when it begins next month.
