Nuno Espirito Santo has confirmed his starting XI for Tottenham’s Carabao Cup third round time at Wolves.

Cristian Romero is the only survivor from the back four that were beaten by Chelsea as Japhet Tanganga returns at right-back, whilst Davinson Sanchez makes his first appearance since returning from South America and Ben Davies starts at left-back.

Oliver Skipp is back in midfield with Tanguy Ndombele and Dele Alli, but Harry Winks is left out of the squad completely, with only seven substitutes allowed in the Carabao Cup.

Giovani Lo Celso and Harry Kane also keep their places from the 3-0 London derby defeat, but Heung Min Son is on the bench ahead of the north London derby, allowing Bryan Gil to make his full domestic debut.

Sergio Reguilon and Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg are also rested ahead of the trip to Arsenal and there’s no place in the matchday squad for Eric Dier nor Emerson Royal.

Pierluigi Gollini starts in goal for Santo’s team.

  1. Why Ben Davies selected to play as it is the fact that He is the worst left back in Premier League. He just pass the ball to Defenders never play forward to create compare with others .
It is really time for him to go
